Day 10 of Online Distance learning

Today is Friday 28 August and is day 10 of online distance learning.

I listened to a video about kutai-fritters and did a flip-grid video about it.

I listened to a reading clinic video and a maths clinic video.

I read some more of my book called Spirit.  This book is about a horse called Spirit and a girl called Lucky.  They live in the wild west and Spirit was a wild horse. 

I didn't do any create tasks this week but mum and I did baking.  We made a chocolate cake and some chocolate chip cookies.  I helped her read the recipe and mix the ingredients.

I went on matific today.

I also went on to Kupu Hono.  I also did mini golf fractions.

I am happy we are going back to school next week so I can see my friends.  Yay.

Today is 27 August 2020 and is day 9 of online distance learning.

Today I read a book called Animal X Factor and I did a flip grid video about the book.

I am reading my own book from home called Spirit.

I wrote a story about my dad and why I love him.  It is for the competition that Mrs Thompson has organised.  I have emailed her my poster.

I played the teo reo game Kupu Hono.

I did the chilli 3 and 4 maths tasks about the blue m&m's.

Tomorrow is our last day at home and we are going back to school on Monday.

Today is Tuesday 25 August and is day 7 of online distance learning.

I read a chilli three book and it was about Gardening in the Living Room.  I then did a flip-grid video about it.

I read one of my own books from my home.

I played on Matific.

 

I did worked on my story today that I started yesterday. 

I watched a reading clinic video.

I did a maths task today.

Today is Monday 24 August and is day 6 of online distance learning.

This is what I have done today:

I listened to a video called Unwrapped and did a Flip-grid video about it.

I read my book Spirit Riding Free.

I started writing a story about why we should grow our own vegetables,

I went on Matific for 20 minutes.

I watched 1 writing clinic video.

I did 3 worksheets that Ms Izelle gave me.

I did a Maths task "Four Teddy Bears go on a Picnic".

Today is Friday 21 August 2020 and is day 5 in online distance learning.

This morning I read the book Bok Choy after that I did a flipgrid about the book I read.

I watched two reading clinic videos:

Chilli 3/4 - summarising

I have also watched the video "How to write a procedural text".

I also watched the "Dimensional shapes video part one".

Mum and I walked to school to go to the office to pick up a learning pack.  When I got home I did two sheets:

Maths - Solving additions problems by rearranging and combining numbers to make ten

Today is Thursday 20 August.  I have read my book.  I have also watched educational tv.  I saw Ms Paniora on tv and I also watched a science session.

I finished my slide show about our trip to the snow.  I have put the slide show on my blog for everyone to see it.

I did the writing task, about my favourite sandwich.  My favourite sandwich is a cheese toasted sandwich and my sister Jennifer made me one for lunch today.

Today is Wednesday 19 August.

This morning I did some writing.  I wrote a story about our trip to Rotorua and the snow.  Mum is going to get some photos for me to add to my story.  When I have added the photos I will post the story to my blog.

I have read my book a lot through the day.

I watched the educational tv and it was about fractions.  I liked watching it.

I also did 2 maths task today.

Ben walked around the park

In total Ben walked 30 metres.

5 metres + 10 metre + 5 metres + 10 metres = 30 metres.

Copycats

Circles are not copycats because they have no lines.

Triangles are copycats.  I made a triangle at home and then made 4 more triangles.  I put them together to make a big triangle.

Today is Tuesday 18 August and day 2 of online learning.

I read a book online and I also read my own book throughout the day.  I also completed three maths tasks.

In between mum's meetings for work, we went and fed the ducks.  I found a secret path and we went on an adventure.  It was fun.

Odd one out.

I think that the odd one out was the sphere as all the other shapes had straight lines and the sphere no straight lines.

Chocolates in a box

If I had 24 chocolates I would put them in 2 rows and have 12 chocolates in each row.

Lots of squares

At first I counted 9 squares.  I connected all the lines and that made 9 squares.  Then mum and I looked at the dots again.  I counted 5 more squares.  In total I found 14 squares.

Today is Monday 17 August and the first day of online distance learning.  Today I read 2 books online and did 2 flipgrid videos.

I also read my own books all through the day because I love reading.  I really enjoyed doing the task "what would I buy if I had $10".  The Kmart website was so much fun.
